AMD Radeon RX 6800 Features and Benefits
Ray Tracing Support
Finally, AMD has welcomed the ray-tracing capability, which is all the rage nowadays for heavy-duty video cards. The Radeon RX 6800’s revolutionary technology delivers globally and realistically-lit images and scenes. So this device is definitely worth checking out.
4K Display
The Radeon RX 6800 graphics card provides crystal-clear detail and amazing visuals, particularly designed for 1440p and 4K resolution displays. This GPU can handle intense gameplay, fantastic video playbacks, and professional software with confidence and ease.
Memory
This video card has 6 GB more capacity than its NVIDIA counterpart RTX 3080. Equipped with a viable GDDR6 memory processor, this innovative piece of hardware can readily render graphics-intensive applications with impeccable accuracy and lighting-fast bandwidths.
Cooling Mechanism
AMD’s RX 6800 comes with a solid cooling system that can effectively dissipate heat as the GPU components are generating it.
Graphics-demanding activities such as live video streaming and 3D model shading are executed continuously while keeping the core temperature in control.
Power Consumption
There are only a handful of energy-efficient video cards in the market today, and Radeon RX 6800 is one of those few devices. This GPU consumes 200 watts less power than an RTX 3080, making the unit more attainable and favorable for users and professionals on a budget.
1440p Display
An AMD Radeon RX 6800 has more than enough capacity to process games and programs for 1440p displays because it is also designed for the more incredible 4K pixel monitors and screens.
Even though the 1080p resolution still dominates the gaming and software sector nowadays, the RX 6800 is ready for the future of displays, which are 1440p and 4K.
This is good news for interested users as this video card could function in any compatible computer rig for an extended period of time.

To be categorized as VR-ready, the GPU has to get a passing mark and receive a minimum rank of Very High.
Video Editing
Depending on the complexity of your intended use, the RX 6800 might be good for video editing. The video card built-in driver software encounters too many bugs, especially for professional-grade video editing tasks, as stated in online forums.
On the other hand, if the video editing you’re planning to do is basic such as merging video clips and adding a little bit of music and effects, this device can function and work perfectly.

AMD Radeon RX 6800 Social Proof
It’s way better than the GeForce experience.

I feel like Radeon 6000 series is primed to give NVIDIA a run for its money, specifically with how much care they put into their Adrenaline software. It’s way better than the GeForce experience.
In terms of non-RTX, the card lands between 3070 and 3080 in terms of performance. Smart arm bulbs up things a percentage or two. Looking forward to AMD’s answer to DLSS. VR is steady when in PCIe 4.0 but gets jittery in the 3 slots if another card is in 4.
This card has exceeded expectations

Picked up this card from my local store without knowing much about it, just knowing I needed an RX 6800 and I am blown away.
This card has exceeded expectations for performance and especially cooling. Even pushing texture-heavy 4K games, I rarely get high temps and maintain consistent frame rates.
The look is very understated, which is exactly what I was looking for in my no-nonsense all-black build. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!
I've had zero driver issues

For the price… It is what it is. With the pandemic disrupting supply chains and pumping up demand, you're going to be paying a lot. The AMD reference 6800's listed on PBTech for $1050, and this was $1200. Not great, but not terrible either.
So, overall: a great card - just debate with yourself whether the price is worth it. Oh, and I've had zero driver issues for those worried about it with Radeon cards (running with a Ryzen 5600X).
Conclusion
The AMD Radeon RX 6800 graphics card is an impressive GPU that delivers powerful and immersive gameplay. This card has 16 GB GDDR6 memory equipped with an infinity cache of 128 MB, allowing any software to run at 1440p and 4K games smoothly.
The RX 6800 also boasts features never seen before in an AMD video card. With impressive clock speeds that allow you to enjoy thrilling adventures and stunning video playbacks, this could be the high-quality device that’s right for you!
